About Alton Lightsey

Alton founded LightseyLaw in 1999 and brings more than 30 years of experience practicing commercial real estate law.

He is a graduate of the University of Florida (B.A. – 1985; J.D. with honors – 1988) and a member of the University of Florida Hall of Fame. During school, Alton was a member of Florida Blue Key (President – 1987), Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity, the Law Review, and was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa society. He has earned a Martindale-Hubbell “AV” rating.

Prior to founding Lightsey & Associates, Alton was a shareholder at the Orlando and Tallahassee offices of Carlton Fields, P.A.
